DMU Global offers free online international opportunities for students

The pandemic may have closed international borders, but DMU Global has lined up more innovative online opportunities for students to link up with experts and peers around the world.

Applications are now open for De Montfort University Leicester (DMU) students to experience different cultures and ways of learning that will boost their job opportunities and help them develop a range of key skills.

Current DMU Global Online Learning opportunities offer the chance to collaborate with fellow students around the world, to learn from academics and business leaders, and explore solutions to real-world problems.

The wide range of activities are all designed to boost employability skills and promote global citizenship.

All opportunities on offer are free for DMU students, with DMU Global covering all participation costs.

Leo Smith, Head of Global Mobility at DMU, said: “The pandemic has changed the way we work with the rest of the world so we have been determined to continue to bring our students unique opportunities to learn from people globally.

“We are confident these latest opportunities will help students develop an international mindset, demonstrating that you don’t have to travel to broaden your horizons.

“I would urge anyone who is interested in these opportunities to sign up as soon as possible, as places are limited and we expect them to be popular!”
