Two DMU choirs through to the finals of University Gospel Choir of the Year!
Members of two De Montfort University Leicester (DMU) gospel choirs have reached the finals of the search for the University Gospel Choir of the Year.
DMU Student Choir and DMU Gospel Choir will battle it out with six other finalists for the competition, which takes place on Saturday.
Both choirs have made videos for the event and prizes will be given to the one which has had the most views – you can show your support by watching the videos below!

Both choirs are thrilled and excited to be part of the competition which this year saw a record number of entries from choirs around the UK.
The sixth annual competition will take place at the London Hippodrome in Golders Green from 6pm.
The DMU choirs will be competing against:
• University of Southampton ACCF Choir
• Canterbury Christchurch University
• Coventry University Gospel Rhythms
• Middlesex University MDX Gospel Choir
• University of Portsmouth Gospel Choir
• University of Leicester University Voices
The event is being compered by MOBO-Award winning singer Rachel Kerr.
