Basketball win

The men’s 2nd team matched the 1st teams success, but by a much tighter margin. They have been victims of late comebacks recently, but held on to overcome Oxford Brookes 2nd, 55-52.

Following the 2nd fixture, Coach Igor Mirkovic said: “We started off very strong, very convincingly. The team played well, the team cohesion was there, we ran the plays and we learned very quickly we would be dominant in the game.

“However, we let our guard down, we let them back into the game and it was very tense at the end.

“Fortunately it went our way, but it could have been very different at end. At the end of the day, congratulations to the side and getting another win on the board for men’s basketball.”
