Description

To celebrate international Women’s Day and Women’s History Month, Professor of Art and Photography, Lala Meredith-Vula will give a talk about their recent research work, ‘Persona: Women and Water’ which is currently in the exhibition ‘Atmospheres’ at the Vanner Gallery in Salisbury until 23 March 2024.

David Christie, the Director of the Vanner Gallery will join and give a virtual guided tour from the gallery which will include other artists showing in the group show.

This will give you a unique opportunity to see Lala’s work in exhibition. Lala, an international exhibiting artist and professor, has explored many interpretations on the themes of Persona: starting with ‘Persona Explored’ series which was first showcased in Damien Hirst’s Freeze in 1988. Here in Women and Water, a series ongoing since 1995, themes around women are explored and questioned.

Do join us online for a special event to celebrate Women throughout the world.
