Join us for Rhymes and Vibes, a spoken word event being held at Curve Leicester as part of DMU’s Black History Month. This free foyer performance will bring talented Black and Asian wordsmiths and spoken word artists to DMU for an evening of entertainment. With stories about growing up in Leicester, to celebrating life and times at DMU, this will be a celebration of voices that are often ignored by the mainstream. This event is suitable for anyone interested in writing, poetry, spoken word and performance, including staff, students and the general public.
