Description

What is it that Black historical icons, DMU alumni and many of your favourite influencers have in common?

As part of De Montfort University's Black History Month programme:

Come and join us as we share the profound Black history that includes notable guest speakers who walked through the doors of DMU.

This is a celebration of innovation, entrepreneurship and culture that dates back 250 years, right to the present day; where passion, drive and hunger for success, have seen many Black men and women achieve great success against all odds.

You will hear from Dee Miller Author, Consultant and Entrepreneur, Aminata Kamara BBC Radio Presenter and Entrepreneur, alongside some very special guests as they welcome you to an evening of entertainment and inspiration like you’ve never experienced before.

Places can be booked up to one hour before the event starts and registrants will receive a confirmation up to 24 hours before the event.

Please contact the DMU Events Office on eventsoffice@dmu.ac.uk if you have any questions or if you have any special event requirements.

This event is open to all.
