Description

This event is part of #DMUpride to mark LGBTQ+ History Month and is open to all.

Eva Echo is an activist, public speaker and blogger with a focus on transgender rights. She uses her own experiences to shed light on what it is to be transgender and to challenge the obstacles that may be encountered by gender-diverse people within today’s society.

She is a brand ambassador for the London Transgender Clinic, part of Gendered Intellligence’s GIANTS programme and is Head of Communication and Engagement at Birmingham Pride. She also sits on the Crown Prosecution Service’s hate crime panel.

During this talk, Eva will discuss her transgender experience and how we must use LGBTQ+ history to secure our future..

Places can be booked up to one hour before the start of the event. Registrants will receive a link to join the session 24 hours before the event.
