Description

This mini-conference will explore the pedagogy of experiential, community and business-engaged approaches to learning.

During this event, we will introduce and work with the concept of 'real-life learning', which aims to incorporate the benefits of experiential learning approaches, and the community and regional economic benefit achieved through activities with partner organisations.

The approach highlights the potential for learning to be personally transformative, pedagogically innovative, and to enable action to address key challenges in society at large.

DMU staff and external interested parties are welcome to attend.

This event is hosted by the Centre for Academic Innovation and the Public Engagement and Sustainable Development teams.

Please note, this mini-conference will be recorded. For any queries, please email cai@dmu.ac.uk

Bookings will close 1 hour prior to the start of the event, and registrants will receive a link to join the online event 24hrs before the event, via their provided email address.

Please contact the DMU Events Office on eventsoffice@dmu.ac.uk if you have any questions.
