Description

The Stephen Lawrence Research Centre in partnership with the African Heritage Alliance is delighted to invite you to participate in this live webinar with Baroness Doreen Lawrence of Clarendon, OBE.

Ahead of Stephen Lawrence Day, 22 April, Baroness Lawrence will share the Stephen Lawrence Day Foundation’s vison for creating a fairer society for all. She will be joined by educators, students and community leaders for a discussion on how Stephen’s legacy is inspiring a change for good across the nation.

“Getting involved in Stephen Lawrence Day is a chance to be part of a national conversation and show your commitment to creating a fairer society in which everyone has the opportunity to live their best life. This year, in particular, it is a chance to show how small changes and simple things that we can all do can make a huge difference.” - The Stephen Lawrence Foundation.

Join the conversation and find out how communities in the Midlands can mark the day!

Bookings will close at 17:00 on 29 March 2021 before the start of the event.

Registrants will receive a link to join the online webinar before the event via their provided email address.

Please contact the Stephen Lawrence Research Centre at slrc@dmu.ac.uk if you have any questions.

This event is open to all.
