Following the success of last year’s DMU Gallery Takeover by Rainbow Families (an informal social group for LGBTQ+ parents and carers and their children), the takeover event is back! But this year, we’re online. Gallery staff will be live online helping children and their grown-ups to get hands-on and creative in the comfort of their own homes. The online platform will give you the chance to ask questions if you get stuck, showcase your finished art work as well as giving you a chance to chat online to other families. All the materials needed for the activity will be supplied free of charge ahead of the event. (UK addresses only).
The event is open to all LGBTQ+ families, friends and allies. We look forward to welcoming you along.
Booking is essential to allow us to supply you with the crafting materials. If you wish to receive the art materials then places should be booked by Sunday 14 February. Please note any address details supplied will only be used for the purpose of sending on the art materials.
Registrants will receive a link to join the talk 2 days before the event, via their provided email address.
