Description
Caplin Solar is a Leicestershire based company specialising in low energy homes.

Following the first installation of the Caplin Solar thermal storage system in 2013 at a demonstration house Caplin Solar is currently engaged in a highly innovative development of 47 new homes in Corby which generate more energy than they use. The initial demonstrator system’s technical performance was monitored and analysed year-round by experts from De Montfort University’s Institute of Energy and Sustainability, a world leading energy research institute. The demonstrator attracted a lot of international press attention as the UK first home to be heated solely by the sun’s energy all year round.
