After last year’s successful varsity event, we are delighted to announce that we are hosting a reception for all alumni and friends of the university at Welford Road on Wednesday 6 March during the varsity rugby matches between DMU and UOL.
The women’s varsity match will kick off at: 6.15–8.15pm, and the men’s varsity match will kick off at: 8.15-10.15pm. The reception will start at 6pm where you can enjoy the games from ‘The Clubhouse’ lounge and finish at 11pm.
The reception will allow you to network with DMU alumni and members of the local sporting community, there will also be a chance to learn more about our new ‘DMU Sports Network’ and our ongoing partnership with the Matt Hampson Foundation. There will also be a chance to meet some current Leicester Tigers players and win some Leicester Tigers and England signed merchandise.
Tickets for the event are £10 and include match entry and drinks token, with all funds raised will go to our ‘Leadership Development Fund’ which supports current students.
