Mexican composer Tonalli R. Nakamura discusses his approach to electroacoustic music composition. Nakamura is a specialist in music with new technologies—acousmatic music, instrumental contemporary music and live electronics. He has presented and premiered work in different states of Mexico and in Germany, England, Ireland, Scotland, Belgium, Spain, Russia, Japan, China, Canada, USA, Colombia, Ecuador and Chile. A prize winner in the 2010 state composition contest of the Morelia International Contemporary Music Festival, he is currently responsible for technical direction and coordination of artistic programming in the Mexican Center for Music and Sound Arts (CMMAS).
