Dr William Knight

Dr Knight conducted his PhD on the subject of Hacktivism and Social Movements. He occupies a joint role in the Ethics Support team of the Human Brain Project (HBP), based at DMU, he is the compliance manager for the project - ensuring that all HBP projects are conducted with the appropriate regulatory approval - and he is also a research fellow on the project with a focus on ethical compliance in EU research projects.

Research interests include ethical compliance in EU and other large scale research projects, research ethics, neuroethics, internet cultures, data ethics and disruptive technologies.
