Roxana Moroșanu Firth is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Computing and Social Responsibility, De Montfort University, UK. Her research looks at people and technology, with a focus on smart homes, innovation and creativity. She is the author of An Ethnography of Household Energy Demand in the UK (Palgrave Macmillan, 2016) and co-author of Making Homes: Anthropology and Design (Bloomsbury, 2017). Her research has appeared in, among others, The Cambridge Journal of Anthropology, Design Studies, International Journal of Cultural Studies. 

Before joining De Montfort University, Roxana was a Research Associate at the Engineering Design Centre, University of Cambridge.
