Personal profile

Victoria recently submitted her PhD thesis entitled Trying to “manage the excess”: A constructivist grounded theory of hoarding behaviour. Her research focused on understanding how hoarding behaviours develop and the meaning of possessions for people with self-identified hoarding behaviours. Victoria has also been involved in research on maternal obsessive-compulsive disorder and has interests in hoarding behaviour, OCD and mental health in general. She is also interested in wellbeing generally and specifically the ways in which martial arts, yoga and fitness can benefit psychological wellbeing.
