I am interested in uncovering the signalling mechanisms involved in mediating cardiac damage in drug-induced toxicity and aged related disorders, as well as the biomarkers associated with damage. I have previously investigated the role of probiotic intervention on gut derived metabolites which are known mediators of cardiovascular risk and the impact of anti-cholinergic signalling on exacerbating cardiovascular disorder.
