Personal profile

Ravinderjit Briah is an Associate Professor and Project Manager for the suite of Community Justice Learning (Probation) programmes as well as the Masters degree in Community and Criminal Justice Leadership. She joined the Community and Criminal Justice Division at DMU in 2003. Prior to joining DMU, Ravinderjit worked for the National Probation Service West Midlands and worked in a variety of roles as a Policy Advisor in Race for a City Council and crime and community justice issues across the voluntary, statutory and community sector. Ravinderjit has taught across the suite of Programmes in the Division. She has experience teaching Undergraduate, Postgraduate and vocational students having taught on the Policing, Probation, Criminology and Masters courses based at DMU.
