Personal profile

Dawns research is focused on improving access to health services and health service delivery through mixed methods research and evaluation, with a particular emphasis on ethnic inequalities, maternity services and non communicable diseases. Dawn has a particular expertise in mixed methodologies and in research which explores patient and professional perspectives of health and healthcare services.

Dawn is an experienced research project manager and clinical trial manager, and has successfully led the delivery of single site and large multi-centre research projects. More recently, Dawn has independently led a research team as Principal Investigator (PI), after successfully obtaining research funding.

Dawn is an active reviewer of research ethics applications and is a  peer-reviewer for the BJGP and BMJ Open.
