Personal profile

Dr. Selman Karagoz currently serves as a lecturer in Business Management at De Montfort University (DMU) in Leicester. Prior to assuming this position, he held the role of lecturer in Business Analytics at Coventry University and served as an hourly paid lecturer (HPL) at Nottingham Business School, Nottingham Trent University. Dr. Karagoz has also contributed to the academic community through roles as a visiting researcher at the School of Computer Science, University of Nottingham, and as a teaching and research assistant at the Department of Industrial Engineering, Yildiz Technical University in Istanbul.

In addition to his diverse academic background, Dr. Karagoz has practical industry experience, having worked as a part-time logistics project engineer at B/S/H/ Hausgeräte GmbH in Turkey. His primary areas of research interest encompass decision-making under uncertainties, mathematical modeling, green supply chain management, and data analytics.
