I am currently in the first year of my PhD, which falls within the area of consumer identity and green consumption. My research study examines the impact of ecotourism on the identity construction of tourists who are experiencing ecotourism within a cultural context that is different from theirs.

Abstract

For my PhD topic, I’m looking at the relationship between ecotourism, identity construction processes and culture and how these three variables are interrelated.  For this research I’m applying a quantitative approach.
