Oliver Bennett, LL.B (Hons) (Durham) 1995, Solicitor, admitted 2000. DMU Teacher Fellow and Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Trained and practised in two large commercial firms in Newcastle and Leicester, specialising in Employment Law before joining De Montfort University and then acted as a consultant for a large regional law firm for 15 years afterwards.
He has previously been an External Examiner at several institutions, the Solicitors Regulation Authority’s Chief External Assessor for Employment Law on the LPC, an Academic Practice Officer for the Law School, a Faculty Equality Reviewer and Provost and a Chair of Validation Panels.
