Personal profile

Olapeju is a doctoral researcher with distinction in Accounting and Business Management with experience in accounting, banking, finance, retail and teaching. Prior to beginning her doctoral research, she worked in Seed Capital Microfinance Bank and Access Bank Nigeria in various risk analysis, product management and administration capacities; she has also had a stint running a family business and teaching at secondary school level.

Olapeju contributes to the teaching and research in the area of business and management. She is particularly interested in small enterprises debt financing, management, finance, risks, entrepreneurship and sustainability. Her current research focuses on finance, bank behaviour and risk evaluations in small enterprises in sub-Sahara Africa.
