Miss Meera Borsara

I am an Lecturer in Business Management with a particular interest in Business Strategy. I joined Leicester Castle Business School at De Montfort University in February 2023. My research focus is within Higher Education and Business Strategy domains. I research how to enhance student engagement and active learning in particular within an Higher Education environment, and from the Business Strategy side, I research new concepts/frameworks/theories in International Business Strategy that can be implemented by firms' to craft winning strategies in the global context. I have substantial teaching experience on various levels of undergraduate and postgraduate studies. I am also an external examiner for the BA Entrepreneurship & Innovation programme at University of Northampton.

I have particular interests in the following areas of international business strategy research:
business level strategies and sources of competitive advantage, culture in international contexts and multinational corporations, business diversification and performance evaluation, internationalization and growth strategies and entry modes.
