Personal profile

Dr Emre Arslan is a Lecturer in Business Management at the School of Leadership, Management and Marketing at De Montfort University, Leicester. Prior to joining DMU in December 2021, he held a management and marketing consultancy position at a private company, supervision and teaching positions at Bournemouth University.

Emre completed his PhD from Bournemouth University – Business School. He studied the application of the strategic entrepreneurship concept as the tool for the effective use of resources and innovation within the third sector in the South-West of England. Emre’s main research portfolio lies in voluntary and community organisations in the U.K., social enterprises, strategic management, social and strategic entrepreneurship.

As a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), Emre teaches both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
