Personal profile

Dr. David Boye is a Senior Lecturer in Business Management and the Deputy Programme Lead for Business Management programme within the Faculty of Business and Law at De Montfort University. He also serves as the Artificial Intelligence Lead for Undergraduate Business Management, where he supports the integration of responsible and practical AI applications into teaching, learning, and curriculum development.

Dr. Boye is a pragmatic and forward-thinking scholar whose work sits at the intersection of business management, innovation, and emerging digital technologies. His research focuses on innovation management, technology management, and digital innovation, with particular interest in how organisations can leverage collective intelligence and the wisdom of the crowd to solve complex problems and generate new value.

His research explores themes such as crowdsourcing, co-creation, new product development, and organisational resilience, examining how digital platforms, collaborative networks, and data-driven insights reshape the way organisations innovate and adapt in uncertain environments. He also engages with areas including text mining, financial technologies, and digital transformation, investigating how data and digital tools can support more inclusive, scalable, and resilient innovation processes.
