English language courses
Students can study and improve their English language skills through DMU's Centre for English Language Learning. Students who are required to have a certain IELTS level to be accepted onto their course at DMU can enrol onto a pre-sessional course, which is an intensive English language course that can be taken in the summer before starting your degree. Depending on your level of English, pre-sessional courses are 4, 8 and 13 weeks in duration.
DMU International College offers international students an alternative route to a degree at DMU, with additional support with academic skills and English. Find out more about the courses available at our International College.
