The Leisure team seeks to offer participation in a diverse range of physical sports and wellbeing activities in our state of the art facilities. Services include memberships; reception; swimming pool; gym; sports hall; fitness suite and a climbing wall.
Leisure Services is committed to providing excellent customer service through its activities, programmes, facilities and staff. We strive for an inclusive environment which is welcoming to all and reflects the diverse needs of our users. We support many stakeholders in providing facilities for staff across the university.
We are based in three areas of the university estate, as follows:

The Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Leisure Centre
We offer competitively priced access to students, staff and the local community. Memberships can be purchased through the online membership portal on a 3 tier pricing structure. Links to the left of this page, for information.
- 25 metre competition swimming pool.
- A 100+ station fitness suite which includes free weights, fixed resistance, cardiovascular and functional training equipment.
- Personal trainers available on request.
- 8 court sports hall which allows for various sports and activities to take place.
- Dance studio which accommodates our extensive class provision.
- 13 metre high climbing wall which includes bouldering section and access to auto belay devices for lone climbing.

Home to the DMU Sport department and also the DMU Rowing Club. Situated on Liberty Island. The university has invested in the facility to offer additional space for DMU's student activities including sports clubs and societies.
With classroom spaces and a multi-purpose sports hall, the spaces meet students' needs and also provide an ideal venue for events.
The facility also hosts Intra-Mural and Campus 330 recreational sports opportunities.

The building is predominantly used to aid participation in sports and activities as a social and well-being space, provide training space for the DMU competitive sports teams who participate in British University College Sport and local leagues.
Beaumont Park is situated on the outskirts of Leicester which has recently seen £2.5 million worth of investment. Home to the DMU football teams, the venue also boasts FA standard grass and artificial pitches as well as a recently refurbished clubhouse.

The space provides the DMU Sports teams' access to an all-weather pitch for training and matches. The space is also used to support local football as well as community engagement projects.
