International student support
By coming to De Montfort University (DMU) you are embarking on an exciting and life-changing adventure, but you may still need some support along the way.
As an international student, you will have a range of support available to you that begins before you set foot on campus and continues right up until the time you graduate.
Arriving in January?
We can provide information and guidance if you're planning your journey, and there is information on our website here about transport from different UK airports to DMU. If you have any questions or concerns, please get in touch with us - we'll be happy to assist.
We can advise you on many of the issues related to living and studying at DMU; you'll find more information on these pages, or please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
International Student Guide
The International Student Guide includes lots of information about living and studying at DMU; it's available online here.
Throughout the year we organise trips and visits at weekends to other towns, cities and tourist attractions in the UK! This year we have already run trips to Stonehenge, Scotland and Oxford.
Find out more about the Explore UK programme here.
Police Visa Registration
If you need to register your visa, we will be arranging on-campus appointments with the police Nationality team for those students starting courses in October.
Check here for more advice and information.
Please contact us by email at email@example.com or visit the team in the Student Gateway, on the ground floor of Gateway House (open 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday).
