Charter Marks Awards
Equality Charter Marks are one way that the university can conduct a formal self-assessment of its processes, policies and practices and make a judgement on the impact these have on diversity and fair treatment of our staff, students and other stakeholders. Currently, DMU engages in four self-assessment processes, which are judged externally and lead to the conferment of a ranking or award. There are: Athena Swan, Race Charter Mark, Two Ticks and Stonewall Workplace Equality Index.
DMU has also signed a commitment to Time to Change and is a partner in the Leicestershire Police Stamp It Out campaign.
