Graduate Fashion Week is the Premier League of shows for new fashion talent – so it was the perfect venue for De Montfort University Leicester (DMU) to celebrate Leicester City’s incredible title win.
DMU students sent their models down the catwalk in London’s trendy Brick Lane wearing their latest designs accessorised by LCFC flags, scarves and hats and a banner declaring: “Leicester City Premier League Champions 2016”.
As the strains of the Post-Horn Gallop – the tune which LCFC’s players run out to – were played, the lights were dimmed and the audience burst into applause as the models paid their own special tribute to the club.

Fashion Design course leader Della Swain said they wanted to celebrate LCFC’s amazing season in their show.
She said: “We bring Leicester to London with Graduate Fashion Week and Leicester City has brought Leicester to the world. I just felt it was perfect timing to celebrate Leicester City’s success.
“Fashion can be so serious, I felt this would be a lift and it got such a positive reaction.. We put on a really good, strong show. Everybody has been wowed.”
