Dr Mark Griffiths is a distinguished professor of behavioural addiction at Nottingham Trent University. Internationally known for his research on technological addictions, he has published over 1000 papers and book chapters and five books.
Mark has won 20 national and international awards and has appeared throughout the media, writing numerous articles for national and international newspapers and magazines. Here he provides the reasons on how and why individuals can be genuinely addicted to behaviours such as gambling, gaming and social media.
