The Pharmaceutical Technical University is a newly established university and offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in pharmacy, life sciences, cosmetic sciences, technology and industrial management in compliance with leading British academic standards. In partnership with the University of Sunderland and De Montfort University, the University is proud to welcome new students to the Faculty of Pharmacy and Faculty of Life Sciences.

DMU among guests as Uzbekistan President officially opens Pharmaceutical Technical University

De Montfort University (DMU) staff joined Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev for the official opening of Pharmaceutical Technical University (PTU), a key project aimed at boosting the country’s pharmaceutical expertise. DMU has supported PTU since 2019, helping develop its first MSci Pharmacy degree and training future teaching staff.

DMU launches its first-ever honours in Uzbekistan

De Montfort University has launched its first honours programmes in Uzbekistan. In partnership with the newly established Pharmaceutical Technical University (PTU) in Tashkent, DMU is offering students the opportunity to earn a British degree in pharmacy and business-related fields, supporting the country’s ambitions to become a regional hub for higher education and pharmaceutical innovation.
