On our Law courses, you will explore the legal principles that shape society and gain a deeper understanding of the issues influencing the world around you. You will learn through a combination of legal analysis, discussion and practical application, helping you develop the confidence to construct arguments, assess evidence and communicate complex ideas clearly. Along the way, you will be supported by experienced academics who will encourage you to question, investigate and think independently.

Alongside academic study, you can apply your learning in specialist facilities including a historic Crown Court, a mock courtroom and advocacy spaces designed to replicate professional legal environments. Opportunities through the Law Lab Enterprise and Justice Clinic allow you to build valuable skills and experience while working alongside legal professionals.
