ART AND DESIGN FACILITIES

Our students this academic year have benefited from the new state-of-the-art Vijay Patel Building, the centrepiece of DMU’s £136 million campus transformation. This new art and design facility shows how serious we are about giving our students the very best experience and to provide them with the tools to achieve their aspirations.

The Vijay Patel Building offers sector-leading facilities to students. The Arts Tower accommodates the re-launched Leicester School of Art which, together with the Design Wing, covers the full spectrum of visual arts, design and architecture. Students can make use of our new cutting-edge Digital Arts floor, an experimental space for new developments in visual culture, along with the excellent and much expanded facilities for traditional objective drawing, making it an unrivalled environment in which students can create and express.
