Salary: £58,225- £67,468 (dependant upon skills and experience) plus London Weighting of £4139 per annum*

The Head of Campus Operations is a senior leadership role within DMU London, reporting directly to the Director of DMU London and forming a key part of the campus leadership team. The post holder will lead the operational management of the campus, including oversight of physical and financial resources, student support, professional services and academic administration, ensuring the effective, consistent and efficient running of DMU London.

This is a strategic and hands-on role responsible for ensuring coherence and high standards across all operational services. The post holder will work closely with colleagues in London and professional services teams in Leicester to maintain strong collaboration, aligned processes and an excellent staff and student experience. As DMU London continues to establish itself, this role will play a central part in developing operating models, enhancing service delivery and contributing to the achievement of campus and university priorities.

What you’ll be responsible for

As Head of Campus Operations, you will oversee the delivery of academic administration, student services and professional support functions across DMU London. You will lead and develop a high-performing team with clear direction, prioritisation and accountability. You will manage the effective use of physical and financial resources to ensure smooth and sustainable campus operations. You will drive operational improvements and lead projects that positively impact the student experience and support strategic objectives. You will work closely with colleagues in London and in professional service directorates in Leicester to ensure aligned, high-quality services. You will represent DMU London on relevant boards and committees, contributing to planning and decision-making. You will also ensure compliance with health and safety requirements and support campus recruitment and engagement activities.

About you

We are looking for an experienced operational leader with a proven ability to deliver change, improve services and manage complex operations. You will have experience managing both human and financial resources and leading high-performing teams through periods of development and change. Relationship-building and influencing skills are essential, as is the ability to analyse and communicate complex information effectively. You will bring strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with a collaborative, innovative and values-led approach to leadership.
