Our annual Digital Festival returns on 2 November 2026, from 1pm-4pm. This year, the theme puts your digital development front-and-centre. A calendar invite will be shared with you soon – please accept or decline to help us monitor attendance.
A festival built by you
Earlier in the year, we asked for your input on the Digital Festival. Many of you got in touch and let us know what you would like to see. Thank you for sending in suggestions. It was clear from your response that you wanted to explore how technology could support you. 85% of colleagues requested a strong focus on digital skills development, 73% AI, and more than half wanted practical demonstrations. We’ve reflected this feedback throughout the event to support your development in these areas.
What can I expect at the Digital Festival?
Throughout the afternoon, there will be plenty of opportunities to build your skills and pick up practical ideas you can use straight away. Look out for 15-minute Collaborative ‘Quick Wins’ demonstrations to enhance your digital skills in a short amount of time such as LinkedIn learning and collaborative digital tools.
There will also be sessions exploring AI leadership, strategy and organisational transformation, and microlearning stations covering tools including Viva Engage, modern SharePoint and Copilot.
Once again this event is open to our staff, our students and our alumni, and it promises to be an inspiring afternoon. We’ll let you know more as we get closer to the event, and hope to see you there!
