Your DMU Future - information for parents and guardians

We understand that as parents and guardians you’ll want to know more about what we’re doing to ensure there’s a diverse, welcoming and inclusive environment for our students at DMU.

Your DMU Future makes it easy for you to get involved in the process and in the positive community we’re building for applicants. We want you to know about the safe campus living for students, quality teaching, one-to-one time with our academics and great student experience we’re providing.

On these pages we hope you’ll find all you need to be confident that we’re putting in place everything our students need to thrive with us.

We’ve also created some resources especially for parents and guardians:

Open Days

Choosing a university is an important decision and one of the best ways to help applicants decide is to see for themselves what DMU has to offer. With current students on hand to share their personal experiences, and tutors to discuss our superb range of courses, DMU Open Days are a great opportunity to help applicants find the right university for them. Find out more about our Open Days here

Tools for students

We’ve created a digital student toolkit so our future students can get advice and support. They can also book on to guidance-led live streams and have one-to-one chats with our friendly students and advisers.

No matter your question or concern, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us – we’re with you every step of the way. You can get in touch either by phone on +44 (0)116 257 7000, email via enquiry@dmu.ac.uk, or on social media, such as InstagramTwitter or Facebook.
