Art and Design facilities
DMU’s new Vijay Patel building brings all our art and design courses together into a beautiful, striking building filled with light. It provides the space and facilities where student and staff ideas can develop and flourish.
You will benefit from our extensive range of specialist facilities including CAD suites, print rooms, 3D printing, modelling workshops, a hot glass studio, textiles labs, shoe, knit and sewing workshops, plus photography and video studios.
You are supported by specialist technicians who will assist you in the use of equipment and techniques as well as offer advice on the use of materials such as textiles, wood, metals and plastics.
