Travelling to our Open Days couldn’t be easier with easy access by car from the M1 and great transport links with direct routes from a number of major cities in the UK.

If you're travelling by car put in the postcode codes to our on campus parking. Signage will also be around the university directing to alternative carparks.

Once on Gateway Street turn left down Deacon Street and the carpark will be at the end.

The car park will be ahead past Gosling Street and on the left.

Go down Bede Island Road and the car park will be on your right.
Check in information
On the morning of the Open Day, check your inbox for an email containing a form link. Keep this open on your phone to check yourself in upon arrival and help reduce queues.
You can check in before or after the Welcome to DMU talks at 9:25am and 11:25am. Simply head to your designated check-in location (listed below), where you'll receive a check-in code to enter into the form.

Places to eat on campus on the day can be found on our campus map - choose from the Food Village and The Coffee House (in the Hugh Aston building).
Filter coffee, tea and water are all free and available in The Venue prior to the Welcome to DMU talks at 9.25am and 11:25am and also from our refreshment stalls throughout the day. These refreshment stalls can be found outside the Food Village or at The Coffee House (in the Hugh Aston building). A hot chocolate drinks station can also be found in the Campus Centre, this is also free to guests.

Pets
While the Open Day takes place largely within university buildings, the campus itself is a shared public space, so we would encourage visitors not to bring dogs or other pets unless necessary. Guide dogs and similar are of course welcome.
