Each tour lasts around 30 minutes and gives visitors the chance to explore our industry-standard facilities. You’ll see our state-of-the-art Trading Floor, the advocacy suite and mock courtroom for aspiring law students, along with our immersive lecture theatres and collaborative study spaces. You’ll also have the opportunity to take a look at our Careers Hub, where students can access careers advice and guidance from our award-winning careers team.

It features flats with seven to 10 bedrooms, each equipped with two toilets and two showers (per flat). The hall offers wheelchair-accessible flats with spacious bedrooms and adapted kitchens, along with allocated parking spaces for students with disabilities.

Castle Court, located on the edge of campus and near the city centre, offers a selection of 3, 4, and 5-bedroom flats.

Basic rooms feature a single bed, while classic and premium rooms include a three-quarter bed, with pricing based on room size rather than bed type. All rooms are en suite, equipped with under-bed storage, and come with a mattress cover.

The exhibition uses archival material from Stephen’s family to tell their story and track some of the landmark events in modern British social history, from the overturning of double jeopardy laws to the publication of the Macpherson Report and the fight against institutional racism.

We hope you can join us to see how, since the SLRC was officially opened by Stephen’s mother, Baroness Doreen Lawrence, in 2019, we continue to work with students and staff across DMU, and communities everywhere, to drive forward national conversations that shape the way we think about race and social justice.

Join staff from the Stephen Lawrence Research Centre (SLRC) as we take you on a tour of our exhibition space, telling the story of Stephen Lawrence and his family’s decades-long fight for justice following his racist murder in 1993 – and learn why the case is still relevant today.

The exhibition uses archival material from Stephen’s family to tell their story and track some of the landmark events in modern British social history, from the overturning of double jeopardy laws to the publication of the Macpherson Report and the fight against institutional racism.

We hope you can join us to see how, since the SLRC was officially opened by Stephen’s mother, Baroness Doreen Lawrence, in 2019, we continue to work with students and staff across DMU, and communities everywhere, to drive forward national conversations that shape the way we think about race and social justice.
