Neonatal Special and High Dependency Care

This module explores the specialist knowledge and clinical skills in nursing care required to deliver Special and High Dependency care to the neonate. The course will explore contemporary issues and development in neonatal nursing care to provide holistic and evidence based practice in the neonatal setting.

Entry Criteria

  • Effective registration with the NMC / HPC or other relevant professional body. ESSENTIAL
  • Undertaken successful level 4/5 academic study. ESSENTIAL
  • Currently be employed in practice and have the support of their manager in undertaking the module. ESSENTIAL
