Research Dilemmas and Strategies

This is a Master’s Level module designed to develop advanced and specialist knowledge in the fields of research strategies and philosophical assumptions underlying research decisions.

It is designed to broaden student experience of research by reference to less well used strategies, methods of data collection and modes of data analysis; and deepen student awareness by clarifying background assumptions about the social world.

  • Ability to study at Master’s level (minimum of 2.2 first degree OR evidence of degree level study) and evidence of recent study.

The module forms part of the Master’s in Research (Applied Health Studies).
