Contemporary Issues in Health Care Management

This module is designed to provide students with an opportunity to examine in depth a number of distinct and specialist topics that reflect contemporary management issues in health.

It will enable students to explore and analyse a range of contemporary management theories and issues in order to critically evaluate various techniques that are utilised in management and consider how they can be implemented in a variety of health care settings.

It will provide students with the opportunity to analyse management practice and the factors which promote or constrain organisations in a variety of settings and to facilitate informed debate amongst students with different experiences from varied backgrounds, working in diverse environments.
