Module description

The module examines main theories of economic development and applies them to the experience of developing and emerging market economies (EME's) respectively. Over the course of the module, students will gain an understanding of the key issues that pose a challenge to sustainable growth and development. The module will also analyse policy options using the academic literature and analysis of country studies.
