Module description

The Creative Art of Selling and Negotiation is a 15 credit, second year, option module. In this module you will look at the evolution of selling and negotiation techniques over the past century and analyse how they can be enhanced and adapted to fit the modern digital age of selling. In this module you will also have the opportunity to develop and enhance your business negotiation skills. 

Contact hours per student per year

During online delivery:
Lectures: Asynchronous (equivalent to 1 hour of in-session dedication each week).
Seminars: 1-hour online session each week.

During face-to-face delivery (if we return to our normal teaching format during (2020/21)
Lectures: 1-hour lecture every other week.
Seminars: 1-hour session every other week. 

Assessments

  • Academic Report (individual; 1,500 words): 60% 
  • Pitch to Tender Meeting - Role-Play Simulation (Group Work; 15-minute Presentation + supporting document): 40%
