Module description

The module gives an introduction to the Financial System. It analyses the problems causes by asymmetric information in the financial system and how this is linked to the real economy. Finally the module looks at the how the Central Bank operates as well as the International Financial system.

  • Mid-term test (45 mins): 40%
  • Closed book exam (120 mins): 60%
