Module description

This module will enable students to produce an individual and sustained piece of original work that addresses a specific area in the field of Economics and the joint discipline of either: Finance, Risk Management, International Relations or Marketing.

The module will culminate in the writing of a dissertation, supported by appropriate background research and the application of theoretical knowledge. The dissertation will demonstrate the student's intellectual and conceptual skills and their ability to link academic discourse with empirical research using appropriate analytical and critical techniques.

The module aims to ensure that students leave the programme with the proven ability to engage in research informed by a critical discussion, relevant issues and evidence, and conclusions, all of which significantly contribute to the joint disciplines.
