Module description
This module will examine Macroeconomic issues, within a coherent theoretical framework. The module will present an analysis of how the macroeconomy works, in a global environment which is subject to international trade and factor endowment flows.
To understand the global economy a discussion of Business Cycle and Economic Policy will be presented. In addition to this Economic Growth will be examined. This will outline both exogenous and endogenous growth theories.
This module will relate the theory of Macroeconomics to recent world events, to draw out the application of the theory and allow debate on policy implications.
