Just a 10-minute walk from campus and 2 minutes from the city centre, St Martins House, privately managed by Unite Students, is close to a variety of convenience stores and leisure facilities.

The flats have four, five or six bedrooms, each with en suite facilities. There are shared kitchens featuring a breakfast bar and stools, as well as a carpeted area with a sofa and curtains. The kitchen has a cooker, fridge, freezer and microwave. Each flat also has a vacuum cleaner, dustpan and brush, mop and bucket, iron and ironing board and bin.

Up to 70mb internet broadband connection is included in rent costs (with the option to upgrade to 100mb), while TV connection points are available in bedrooms and kitchens (a co-axial cable is required).

UK/EU student - 43 weeks and one night, from Friday 25 September 2020 to Saturday 24 July 2021.

International student - 44 weeks and one night, from Friday 18 September 2020 to Saturday 24 July 2021.

Rent and costs

Classic en suite, £129 per week, inclusive of bills. UK/EU student total: £5,565.43, International student total: £5,694.43

N.B. A guarantor is required. They can be either UK or international, but must be over the age of 25 and in full-time employment.

Rent instalments

Classic en-suite, UK/EU students, four instalments:

  • 25 August 2020: £556.54
  • 09 October 2020: £1,669.63
  • 18 January 2021: £2,226.17
  • 26 April 2021: £1,113.09

Students with an international home address will need to pay in two equal instalments on 25 August 2020 and 18 January 2021

Additional (and important) rent considerations

The first instalment is payable before arrival. You will not be able to use your student loan to make this payment, as you won’t receive it until after you have enrolled on your course.

You can make payments by direct debit, debit card or credit card. Bank transfers can be used if you have no other ways of paying. Instalments should be made directly to Unite Group.
